The League Has Spoken! Merry Geekmas!

"Merry Geekmas! Write or photograph something festive and pop culture oriented."
I'm pretty excited to be posting my first ever League assignment...so here goes....
I have three items I wanted to share for this assignment. The Old, the New, and the Hallmark!
First up, The New. I picked this up this weekend while shopping at Target for Christmas decorations.  I was wandering the aisles and of course browsed through the toy section.  This guy cought my eye and for less then 5 bucks I had to have it.  I guess even the "Dark" Knight tones it down during the holidays. Bruce must be feeling festive!

Next up for this assignment is the Old. These Pinocchio dolls are at least as old as I am as they have been out on display for each Christmas for as long as I can remember.  The taller one is my brothers(big bro) and the smaller one is mine(little bro).  These still reside at Mom's house posing in the window.

For my last item, the Hallmark!  This was a Christmas gift from Mom a few years back (Mom is well aware of my pop culture obsession).  He is currently soaring to great heights on my Christmas tree.

So there you have it. My first ever post for the League of Extraordinary Bloggers. First of many I'm hoping.

Stay tuned for an upcoming toy review of my Snowy Target Exclusive Batman!

"We're kicking off our fun old fashion family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols." - Clark W. Griswold

Be sure to check out some other great pop culture holiday fun happening around the league. Infinite Hollywood posted about the Gamera Gang http://www.infinitehollywood.com/the-league-gamera-christmas/ , Cool and Collected is showing off a rather creepy Zombie Santa www.coolandcollected.com , and Good Will Hunting for Geeks is showing off some home made Christmas ornaments http://goodwillhunting4geeks.blogspot.com/2012/12/december-3-23-items-of-christmas-merry.html?m=1 .
