LOLZY Headline of the day......

So I'm sitting at work drinking my daily cup of coffee, mentally preparing for a busy day, surfing the web, checking out some blogs and my usual news sites when I come across this.....

"11 Ridiculous White House Petitions"....two of which I'm likely to sign!

" 1. Secure resources and funding, and begin construction of a Death Star by 2016

Those who sign here petition the United States government to secure funding and resources, and begin construction on a Death Star by 2016.

By focusing our defense resources into a space-superiority platform and weapon system such as a Death Star, the government can spur job creation in the fields of construction, engineering, space exploration, and more, and strengthen our national defense."

This is awesome. I mean I can see it now...Joe Biden landing on the half finished Death Star trying to up productivity...."The President is not as forgiving as I am!"

Whoever penned this petition makes some great arguments......lets sign this thing.....who's with me!

Total signatures to date - 1,428 (25,000 required to get a response from the whitehouse)

The second petition which is equally awesome......

"4. Build a statue of Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan John-117 on the White House lawn

He deserves more praise for what he has done." DAMN RIGHT HE DOES!

Total signatures to date - 4,526

I could see it now Master Chief in all his epic glory standing proud on the White House lawn, his golden visor glinting in the afternoon Sun!

I don't know about you but I don't see how any self respecting lover of all things pop culture could resist signing these puppies!

"Hey baby isn't the moon just beautiful tonight?"
"That's no's a space station". . . Something I hope to say to my wife in the near future on some enchanted evening!

  1. Awesome! I'm surprised no one has petitioned for these things before.

Thinking about it, a Death Star would be the ultimate economy boost. Obama might actually make me change my opinion of him if he built one (well, a little at least).
